A week ago, our family’s life was suddenly turned upside down. Jalyn was involved in a serious car accident at an intersection when another driver hit her vehicle. The impact was so severe that the car was completely totaled. As a parent, getting that phone call is something you never forget. We are incredibly grateful that Jalyn is still here with us, but the accident left her shaken and dealing with multiple injuries. She’s had to take time off work to focus on healing, which has been difficult both physically and financially. The car she was driving, while older, was something she depended on every single day. Right now, we’re in the middle of navigating the insurance process, and we still don’t know exactly what will be covered. In the meantime, being without a vehicle has made everyday life incredibly challenging. Getting to work, medical appointments, and handling basic responsibilities has become overwhelming during an already stressful time. We’re asking for help to cover the cost of a temporary rental car and to help put toward a dependable vehicle so Jalyn can regain her independence and get back on her feet once she’s able.
