On October 20, 2025, 17-year-old J’Alon Penn was involved in a serious scooter accident in West End, Tortola, Virgin Islands. The impact left him with severe injuries, and just two days later, he was airlifted to Colombia for advanced medical treatment. Since then, J’Alon has faced an incredibly tough journey—spending two and a half weeks in the ICU, undergoing nine surgeries, and now continuing his recovery in the general ward. His path to healing will be long, with months of respiratory, physical, and speech therapy ahead.
J’Alon’s family has been by his side every step of the way, but the financial burden is overwhelming. The funds raised will support his medical journey, including hospital bills, ongoing hospital expenses, post-operative care and therapy, and living expenses while J’Alon is unable to work.
Every contribution—large or small—will help lighten the load for J’Alon and his loved ones, allowing them to focus on his recovery and well-being. We are reaching out to our community and beyond for support. Your generosity will make a real difference in J’Alon’s life, and sharing this campaign will help us reach others who may be able to help. Thank you for standing with J’Alon and his family during this challenging time.
