My name is Jalen Perry. I’m currently trying to get my first 2 kids back after 3 years of not seeing them. I went through the legal process as soon as their mom blocked me and tried to say I bit my oldest son. Mind you, I was at work that day, and my now wife was watching them. Never did we ever put them in danger or harm. We had an agreement: she would get them for a week, and I would get them for a week. She said she couldn’t find a babysitter, so my wife offered to watch them on their mom's weeks. This went on for months until I was blocked for obviously no reason.

After 2 years, I won full custody, paying around $5k to a lawyer, and now I’m being told I have to pay another $2k to a different lawyer to get my kids back because their mom crossed state lines. I’ve been struggling to save up and pay bills at the same time. I wouldn’t ask if I wasn’t desperate. I just want my kids back. I’ve done everything from trying to get loans to asking family and friends, and still, time goes by. Every day I’m missing moments of their lives. Anything will help.
