Support Jalen Cooper’s Family in Their Time of Need
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Kiera and I have created this campaign on behalf of the Cooper Family.
On March 18, 2025, Jalen Cooper, a loving husband to Ava and devoted father to their three children—Ayvree, Joel, and Jonah—suffered a devastating third stroke. Jalen, who has been bravely living with Sickle Cell disease, experienced a series of blood clots in his brain, which led to an emergency surgery to remove the clots and stabilize his condition. While Jalen is slowly but surely making progress, his recovery will be a long and uncertain journey, both physically and financially.
Jalen’s medical situation has placed an overwhelming strain on the Cooper family. Ava, a dedicated teacher, is currently on leave to care for Jalen, but due to the exhaustion of her paid leave after giving birth to their baby in November 2024, she is now without pay. Jalen's short-term disability benefits will help, but they only cover a percentage of his regular income. The family is now facing the burden of mounting household bills, medical expenses, and ongoing treatments, all while navigating the emotional and physical toll of Jalen’s condition.
The Cooper family needs your help. The weight of this crisis is more than they can bear alone, and they are turning to their community for support during this incredibly difficult time. Your generous donations will help ease the financial strain and allow Ava to focus on caring for her husband and their children without the constant worry of how they will make ends meet.
No amount is too small, and every donation will make a significant difference in helping this family get through this chapter of their lives. If you are unable to contribute financially, please keep Jalen and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult time.
Please consider sharing this campaign with your friends and family. Together, we can help lighten the load on the Cooper family, so they can focus on Jalen’s recovery and being there for each other.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. Your help means the world to them.
