Support Ja'Kori's Journey to Sight Recovery
Donation protected
Hello everyone, My name is Tiara Jenkins and I truly appreciate you all for taking a moment to read my story. I am starting this Gofundme on the behalf of my son Ja'Kori Jenkins. Ja'Kori is 7 years old and has autism. He is a very smart child and a sweetheart. On christmas eve my son became vision impaired, he was diagnosed with Staph Marginal Keratitis in both eyes at Phoebe in Albany Ga. Staph marginal keratitis is an inflammation of the outer edge of the cornea and it also affects the vision. We have been to see over three eye doctors and two ophthalmologist in the past two weeks and he has been on steroid and antibiotic eye drops. On January 3rd we went to Americus for a follow up exam, his eye specialist stated that the keratitis was just about cleared up but he did not understand why Ja'kori has not gained his vision back, so he referred us Emory in Atlanta Ga to see what is actually causing his loss of vision. We are preparing to travel to Atlanta within the next 2 weeks. The money that is donated will be used for medical bills and treatment. Any amount that you are willing to contribute will be greatly appreciated and if you are not able to contribute at this time a simple share to your friends and family would mean just as much to us as well.
