It is with a heavy heart that I share this unfortunate news. My roommate and best-friend Jake, was the victim of a hit-and-run accident last Saturday while crossing the street. The driver fled the scene, leaving Jake critically injured with fractures to his skull, jaw, and spine. He spent several days in the intensive care unit, and the road to recovery will be long and arduous.

Jake is one of the kindest souls I have ever had the privilege of knowing. His warm spirit and compassionate nature have touched the lives of countless individuals, making this tragic event all the more devastating. He is the last person who deserves to endure such a horrible ordeal.

In these trying times, our thoughts and prayers are with Jake and his family. However, we recognize that their journey ahead will be accompanied by significant financial burdens, including mounting medical bills and legal fees.
