Support Jake's Recovery from Heart Surgery

Hello everyone, my name is Megan, Jake's girlfriend. I am usually not the person who would ask for help; however, I believe it is necessary due to the experiences we have gone through since December of 2024 when Jake was diagnosed with CAD (coronary artery disease). This disease causes plaque buildup in the coronary arteries, restricting blood flow to the heart.

December 2024: Jake experienced a heart attack and needed to have two stents put in to open up his arteries. The stents since then have failed, causing this major event that has occurred 5 months later.

June 5th, 2025: Jake was driving home from the UP, where we are originally from. He was by himself and having a heart attack as he was driving. He reached Menominee and was unable to see and experiencing a lot of chest pains, and he decided it was best to pull into the Police Department to get the help he needed. He was transported to the nearest hospital. They immediately got him to the Cath lab and determined his stents that were placed back in December have failed. After getting a clear picture of what was going on, they had to transfer him to Aurora BayCare in Green Bay, WI, who then decided it was best to do a Single Bypass Open Heart Surgery.

With that being said, I am creating this GoFundMe to raise money for medical expenses, bills, bills, bills, oh and more bills, food, etc., as Jake has a long road to recovery and will be out of work for quite some time.
