On August 4, 2025, our lives changed in an instant. Jake was involved in a serious motorcycle collision that has left him facing a long and incredibly difficult road to recovery. In the months since that day, he has undergone 10 surgeries, with more care and treatment still ahead. Each procedure has been another step toward healing, but also another reminder of how much he has endured. Before the accident, he was full of life, independence and plans for his future. Today he is fighting every single day to regain his strength, mobility, and sense of normalcy. His resilience has been nothing short of inspiring, but the physical, emotional and financial toll has been difficult for our family. Jake has been non-weight-bearing on his right leg since August 4, 2025 and has been unable to work. A return-to-work date hasn't been set yet. He is currently wearing an external fixation which is helping to lengthen his tibia bone after having 6.5 centimeters of bone removed because of an infection. Your donation will help with Jake's co-payments for hospital visits, physical therapy and prescriptions. If you are unable to give we ask that you please share his story and keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
