Our family is heartbroken to share that Jake is now facing a very difficult battle. In 2023, he was diagnosed with ocular melanoma — a rare and aggressive cancer that begins in the eye. Despite undergoing treatment and staying strong through every challenge, we recently learned that the cancer has spread.

Jake has been dealing with incredible strength, courage, and hope through countless appointments, scans, and procedures. But as the disease has progressed, he’s now facing more treatments, frequent hospital visits, and mounting medical expenses that insurance doesn’t fully cover.
