Help Us Give Jakers the Care He Deserves!

Hi, my name is Anne Krocak from Art, Heart, and Hoofbeats – Equine Rescue and Sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on healing horses and humans. Today, we need your help to support one of our special horses, Jakers.

Jakers’ Journey -

Jakers came to us six months ago, distrustful after a life of uncertainty. With time, patience, and care, he’s learned to trust again and now seeks connection with people.

A New Challenge -

Jakers has asthma ("Heaves") and recently developed painful laminitis in his front hooves from the constant use of steriods. To help manage his breathing and protect his hooves, our vet recommended a $1,200 Flexineb E3 nebulizer. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find a used one anywhere.
