Support Jake Ryan Timothy

Hi everyone, I am reaching out to you on behalf of very close friends of mine Michael and Nichol Timothy. As some of you may or may not know that Nichol, and 2 of her sons, Matt and Jake suffer from a rare genetic disease called Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia. Jake Timothy has the worse of this disease and over the course of his 19 years he has been subjected to 18 lung embolization surgeries and 1 brain surgery to remove a brain abscess. If you will watch the video here, you will get a small glimpse of what he has had to go through. On November 10th, 2017 Jake went to have his 18th lung embolization surgery. When they went in they were unable to do the repairs that they are usually able to do to help him from not having a stroke and help from being susceptible to major infections.
This lung embolization surgery is no longer an option to help Jake, and unfortunately, he has very minimal options available. At the present time he is about to undergoing oxygen therapy and seeking several alternative possible treatments. Down the road they will want to try some very evasive chemotherapy drugs and even further down the road possible section removal of the lungs or even lung transplantation. As you can see from Jake's video he has never let this interfere with his life. He perseveres through it all by his courage and the grace of God. As you can imagine this is taking an emotional toll on the family but even worse is that it will start taking a financial toll on them as well due to the fact that this is a rare disease, most of the treatments may not or will not be covered by their health insurance, as most are considered experimental. At this point experimental treatments are all that are available to Jake. My family is reaching out today to ask for your help in easing this burden on the family. Alternative treatments will be starting as soon as possible and if I could ask for your monetary contribution to help relieve any further stress on this loving family I would be greatly appreciative. We would like to initially cover the cost of oxygen therapy, and alternative treatments including travel expenses to the alternative treatment facilities, that will start in December 2017, and to get them ahead if they need to start the chemo drugs. Every dollar makes a difference, so no donation is too small. Please help to support Jake and his family. They have put their faith in God to help them and Jake get through this but anything we can all do as family and community to help, I know would be an added blessing to this family.
