On the night of May 29th, Jake, Jesse, Tammy Kaska, Adleigh (Jake’s girlfriend), and Kipton Norman (Adleigh’s brother) were heading home from watching Jake compete in a high school baseball game when they were struck by a vehicle that failed to stop at the intersection. The result of this accident caused the passing of our beloved Tammy, someone who was so involved in our school, community, sports, and most importantly, her pride and joys, Riley, Brody, & Jake!

Jesse is in the hospital suffering the loss of his wife and trying to heal from the injuries the accident has caused. Jake, Adleigh, and Kipton are in SUNY Syracuse, where family and friends are traveling back and forth to ensure everyone has the support they need during this difficult time. Jake is suffering the loss of his best friend, his mom, and awaiting surgery on a sheared pelvis. Adleigh and Kipton both suffered a list of injuries which have led them to being in critical condition. They are surrounded by their loving parents, family & friends.

Hockey is second nature to these three incredible athletes. Kipton plays for the Franklin Academy Huskies. Jake also plays for the Franklin Academy Huskies, St. Lawrence Steel, Chateaugay Varsity Baseball, Clinton County Mariners baseball, & more. Adleigh goes to school at Vermont Academy Girls Hockey where she excels!

During this difficult time, we are all trying to come together to be the village that Jake, Jesse, Adleigh, & Kipton are going to need during this horrific time. Any money raised will go directly toward traveling expenses, bills, or any other financial hardships they may experience.
