Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are reaching out to you on behalf of our dear friend Jairo H Barboza who is fighting lung cancer. In 2017 Jairo was diagnosed with skin cancer in the abdomen, and thank God he has been cured. In April, 2024 Jairo was diagnosed with lung cancer (something rare because Jairo was never a smoker). Since then, our friend Jairo has not been able to work and is seeing things get complicated because each visit to the hospital and chemotherapy treatment is a lot of money and he doesn’t have healthy insurance. At this moment, after three chemotherapies and a series of medical exams, the medical expenses exceed $100,000 dollars so far. Today the only person who is keeping the house is his wife Isabel who works tireless to overcome all this and the support of some of his brothers from church who have been helping as much as they can. In light of this moving story, we appeal to your heart that if God touches you, any help will be welcome!!!

About Jairo:

Jairo H Barboza is Married to Isabel and father of 2 kids. Having lived in the USA for 21 years, he has dedicated all this time as church missionary. After 8 years of serving his church as a volunteer leader and after consolidating its growth in the city of Saint Louis, Missouri, he felt called by God to create a new church in the city of Fairmont City, Illinois. As soon as a small group set to work and the result is that God’s blessings have been so great that today there are around 150 people between active members and church visitors attending the services on weekly basis. Throughout all these years, Jairo has been a tireless man of God carrying the message of God, pastoring through Bible studies, supporting on transforming the lives of people in need. All this was done voluntarily and driven by love for God.
