Hi, my name is Holly and I'm writing this on behalf of my co-worker and very close friend.

On Saturday, July 19, 2025, my friend Paulette's 16-year-old son, Jaire, was hospitalized with respiratory failure, put into a medically induced coma, and placed on life support. Throughout this journey, he has undergone many medical procedures, including multiple surgeries, ICU care, specialized treatments, etc. Watching him and his family go through this has been heartbreaking. The amount of stress on his mother and family is unimaginable, but throughout this entire situation, they remain strong and supportive for Jaire! He is receiving 24/7 care and still remains in the ICU. His mom has not left his side. This amazingly strong mom has five other children and has missed a lot of time from work, with medical bills adding up, travel expenses, and many unexpected expenses due to this dire situation, all while trying to focus on Jaire's recovery. It has become increasingly difficult to manage it all on their own. Although mom doesn't want to ask for handouts, it is absolutely a situation where any and every bit of help is much needed for her to be able to completely focus on her son. So please help me raise some financial support to help my friend and this amazingly strong mother out.
