Dear friends,

We are writing this on behalf of our friend, Jaimee Rosko, who has recently been dealt a devastating hand. It pains us to have to share with you all that Jaimee has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

We are hoping to raise funds with the purpose of easing her financial burdens and to gift her the means to access the things that bring her joy, comfort and security during this time. Unfortunately, as is true for so many of us in the service industry, she does not have health insurance to help cover overwhelming medical and life expenses and also can no longer work.

The reality is, no matter how terrible of circumstances we find ourselves in, bills must still be paid. Jaimee has a long list of other priorities to deal with, and we don’t want money to be at the top of that list.

In addition to financial support, she has expressed the need for help with everyday tasks such as meals, organizing, cleaning, paperwork, phone calls, animal care, and of course company. If you are interested and able to provide any of these gifts, please reach out to us and we will help coordinate.

This would be a much longer story if we listed all the ways in which Jaimee has cared for her community and loved ones in her life. We know that given the opportunity, her community will show up for her. An in-person fundraiser and celebration of life is also in the works.
