Jaime Amuchástegui is more than just a coworker at UNAM San Antonio—he is a generous, friendly, and welcoming presence who has touched the lives of so many. Whether it’s helping a visitor find their way or supporting a colleague in need, Jaime is always ready to lend a hand and make everyone feel at home. Now, Jaime and his family are facing an incredibly difficult time. On New Year’s, their house was caught in a fire and suffered severe damage. Thankfully, everyone is safe, but the family is left without a place to live while their home is being repaired. The loss of their home and belongings has been overwhelming, and they are in urgent need of support as they begin to rebuild. The funds raised through this campaign will help Jaime and his family pay for temporary housing, replace essential household items, and cover the basic needs that arise during this challenging period. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping them get back on their feet and regain a sense of stability.
