Hi, my name is Brandon Hilger, and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my dear friend, Jaime Holland.

Jaime is one of those rare people who has spent her life helping others heal. For over 20 years, she has worked in behavioral health treatment, showing up day after day for people at their lowest moments, offering compassion, strength, and unwavering support. Now, she’s the one who needs help, and she cannot do this alone.

What’s Going On

Jaime has been battling a long-term, painful medical condition that has deeply impacted her daily life. She has pushed through for years so she could keep working and caring for her family, but her health has now reached the point where she needs more intensive inpatient treatment to truly heal and have a chance at a stable future.

The good news is that her treatment is covered. The hard part is everything else. As the sole provider for her family, Jaime is now facing the impossible choice between getting the care she desperately needs and keeping a roof over her family’s head.

Her Son Needs Her Too

On top of Jaime’s own medical struggles, her son recently underwent a major organ transplant. He is now home and recuperating under her care, relying on her not only emotionally, but also physically and financially. This is a family that has been through more than most of us can imagine in such a short time.

Jaime has always done whatever it takes to support her family, even when it meant sacrificing her own wellbeing. But right now, the situation is simply bigger than what one person can carry.

Why We’re Asking for Help

While her inpatient treatment costs are covered, Jaime is unable to work during this time, and that means there is no income coming in. To complete her treatment and give her son the stable home he needs to recover, Jaime urgently needs help covering basic living expenses, including:
