Many of you have reached out to ask about Jailiene and wanting an update as well as asking how you can help. Some days I really don’t want to talk about it because it’s really hard to talk about so please don’t take it personal if I don’t respond or if I am short. I thought we’d be done with this by now but it’s been the hardest three years of our lives. Every year I say next year will be better and it’s proven to me that the next year is worse than the prior year. She’s had 3 relapses since and now has half a liver and many other medical issues. This has really affected us in more ways than you can imagine. Jailiene is still fighting (nothing will stop her!) she has had so many surgeries and procedure after procedure and still going… she’s lost so much weight… she’s not the same happy girl anymore… the girl from 3 years ago is completely different today. She has her good days (we try to take advantage of those days) but most days she’s in pain or too tired (in all forms). There have been times where she’s lost her faith (so have I) but we push through and we wont quit. I will fight for my girl til the day I die, I can promise that! My purpose on this Earth is to mother the heck out of my children and that I will do! With all that being said, Jailiene has yet more procedures as well as another surgery coming up coming up in two weeks and I have been on a leave of absence at work due to my mental state. For those who want to help with these upcoming weeks, I am putting my pride to the side and I am reopening a GoFundMe to assist us with travel expenses, living expenses and bills. We would truly appreciate anything your heart desires to give and if you can’t give anything, please just add her to your daily prayer please!! No matter what, we still believe in the power of prayer.
