On October 30, 16-year-old Jaidynn Penberthy was seriously injured when an unexpected explosion occurred at a bonfire. Shrapnel from the explosion struck her in the face, causing extensive injuries and leaving her with a long road to recovery.

Jaidynn suffered a broken jaw, multiple facial fractures, missing teeth, and burns on her body. Due to the severity of her injuries, she was airlifted to the hospital, where she continues to receive extensive medical care. She faces multiple surgeries, dental procedures, additional medical evaluations, and ongoing treatment throughout her recovery.

At just 16 years old, Jaidynn is going through something no one should ever have to experience. The past few days have been incredibly difficult, and while there are still many unknowns, our main focus is making sure she receives the care and support she needs to make a full recovery.

We started this GoFundMe to help with any expenses that may arise throughout Jaidynn's recovery. With the long road ahead, we want to be prepared for whatever she may need and focus on her healing.
