Support Jaida's Cancer Battle with Love
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Netasha, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help for my sweet fur baby, Jaida. Eight years ago, I met Jaida as a dog sitting favor to a friend — and little did I know she would become my own. Since then, she’s been my constant companion, my shadow, and the great source of comfort . She is my first adult dog from puppy to adult.
Jaida has been with me through so much, including my move to the DMV area, where I barely knew anyone. In a time when I felt completely alone, she was the one steady light in my life — offering love, comfort, and companionship when I needed it most.
In August 2024, Jaida was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer that’s unfortunately common in large breeds like Rottweilers. She has been an absolute trooper — already undergoing two chemo pain treatments and currently managing with multiple pain medications. She has not lost her personality in the least bit. However, sadly her energy levels are decreasing . Now, radiation therapy has been recommended to reduce the swelling and pain from the tumor and to help her regain some mobility and comfort.
Time is critical: Jaida is scheduled to begin radiation the first week of June, and the costs are overwhelming. Great news, she only needs to undergo radiation once. I’ve applied for several grants to help cover the expenses, but we are still waiting to hear back or have been denied. That’s why I’m urgently asking for your support.
If you are able to donate, even a small amount would mean the world to us and go directly toward Jaida’s care. And if a donation isn’t possible at this time, we humbly ask that you send positive vibes, healing energy, and prayers her way.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can offer. Jaida is my heart, and with your help, I can make sure she continues to live with the love, comfort, and dignity she deserves.
With love and gratitude,
Netasha & Jaida Pup
