I’m reaching out with a heavy heart after the unexpected loss of my mom. She recently passed away due to epilepsy, and our family was not prepared for this tragedy. Unfortunately, she did not have life insurance, and I am now trying to manage the emotional loss while also facing the financial burden of her services and everyday living expenses.

My mom and I had recently moved into a new home after being homeless for over a year. It felt like we were finally getting back on our feet and starting a new chapter together. Losing her so suddenly has been devastating. On top of this, I have been dealing with a herniated disk in my back, which kept me out of work for two weeks. I had only just returned to work for two days before my mom passed away. Because of this, I’m currently struggling to keep up with expenses while trying to arrange her services and process everything that has happened.

I’m also caring for my two dogs, one of whom was my mom’s service dog. They were incredibly important to her, and I’m doing everything I can to continue taking care of them during this difficult time. I am asking for help to cover my mom’s funeral and memorial service, basic living expenses while I recover and get back to work, and care and necessities for my two dogs.
