Hello community! Our dear friend Jae has been get smacked around by life some these last couple of years and I am hoping we can raise some funds for them to make life a little less stressful! Jae and I have been pals for a few years now and they are one of the kindest and thoughtful people I know. No doubt if you know Jae, that you've experienced the sweet Jae love/friendship that is so special!

The last couple of years Jae has faced the death of two close family members, a major break up, a move to their mom's (that was supposed to be temporary and has been over a year), work struggles, the loss of their beloved cat Kiwi, and so many health issues. Oh, and their car keeps having so many f*cking expensive problems (and they are such a diligent cute Subaru car owner)!!

Every time they save something up they have crazy vet bills or car issues and now they are having a medically necessary surgery on October 13th and have to take unpaid leave from work for at least a couple weeks.

They hardly ask for help and even with all their struggles, they have shown up as a friend to so many of us these last couple of years. I'd really love it if we could give them a little financial relief.

If you can't donate financially (or even if you can), they have other needs that need to be met with surgery prep and after care, reach out to them if you have capacity for bringing them food or helping them run some errands, or providing company. Also, if you know of a full time job that might be great for Jae, please let them know!!
