Jaelyn has a rare diagnosis of Chromosomal Unbalanced Translocation along with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, which has brought about complex medical needs. Last year, her mother, Misty, trusted her intuition, leading to an urgent hospital visit that resulted in emergency surgery for a severe twist in Jaelyn’s colon. This surgery revealed unexpected complications, adding more to her battle.

Since then, Jaelyn has been in the Pediatric ICU, facing respiratory issues, infections, and blood clots, each day presenting new hurdles in her journey toward recovery. Despite these obstacles, Jaelyn has remained strong, fighting with a bravery that inspires all of us. This journey has been incredibly hard on her and her parents, Misty and John, both emotionally and financially.
