Support Jaejun Lee for his settlement application

After reading this,
I would appreciate it if you could make a small donation for me.

I am applying for 'Indefinite leave to remain' in the UK early next month
to continue my career as an artist in the UK.
It’s been almost five years since I moved to the UK.
I left Korea, where I have my family & friends and also all the background and network related to the work. It was a very challenging decision to move to another country alone, but I made it only to communicate with people who, I believed, had much more appreciation.
My first appearance as an artist in the UK happened in 2013.
I was represented by my ex-Korean gallery at Collect, which took place at Saatchi gallery.
I was enormously impressed by the audience and atmosphere; from that time,
I dreamed of working in this country.
Then, it finally happened.
It was endless struggling from the start.
Getting a space, a huge amount of construction work and many issues daily happened
until the day I threw the first pot in the studio made me cry and cry even before I started.
I didn't have vocational connections,
so I had to build them up by visiting galleries in person to introduce myself and my work.
In my first career year(the third year since I received the visa),
I did over 20 events of group exhibitions and fairs in 10 months.
Covid-19 broke out in my second year,
and it swallowed my 2nd and 3rd year.
It wasn't an easy time, but I survived and kept working to show my work both offline and online.
I could feel that more people started to get interested in my work.
The personality of my work is very calm,
so it sometimes doesn't look like it has changed or developed a lot.
However, I have always tried my best to keep 'change' and 'development' essential in my work.
I now have no doubt that my decision five years ago was 100% the right thing
for growing as an artist and becoming a more mature person.
So, I would like to continue my life in the UK and contribute to British Studio Ceramics as one of the members.

If you have enjoyed my journey together or if my work has influenced your life positively, I would appreciate your small donation for my settlement application.
I am a happy artist as I have many people I feel grateful for their love for me and my work.

Thank you very much.
