Support Jaden's Journey Through Nursing School

My name is Taylor, and I am raising money for my friend Jaden. Jaden is a single parent currently attending nursing school, and she could use assistance covering daycare costs for her sweet girl, Zora. Unfortunately, our country does not provide universal childcare, and the cost of quality daycare is exorbitant. You can help with this!

Jaden is so important to me and my family; she provided excellent care for Flora and friendship to me for a year and a half. Our transition to Kansas City and into parenthood would have been impossible without her! On top of everything she has done for us, Jaden is kind, compassionate, intelligent, and a fierce force for good in this world. She is halfway through a competitive Accelerated Nursing program and will graduate in December 2025. Her goal is to become a Labor and Delivery nurse, and Jaden is passionate about improving health outcomes for women and babies.

So far, she has funded her own childcare through saving and cashing in her retirement to fund this goal of financial self sufficiency. She does not qualify for state assistance at this time and has exhausted all other possibilities (grants, student loans) and maximizes aid available (WIC, food pantry, etc). She's applying to scholarships but most don't help with childcare costs. She's applying to part-time jobs, despite being in a rigorous program, including 12 hour clinical rotations across the metro area.

Her daycare provided suddenly closed and her childcare costs have now gone up over 50%, making a stressful situation an emergency.

If funding needs aren't met, Jaden will have to drop out of her program and start paying back nursing school loans immediately without a nursing degree.
