Hello internet, allies, friends, family, and fellow queers!
Jade (they/she) has been out as nonbinary since 2021, and are happier than ever! As a genderqueer person transitioning, friends, family, and the community in Eugene and online has been essential for her happiness. The new year is coming, and with it, they are planning gender-affirming procedures to help reduce her dysphoria and feel more comfortable in their own skin.
Every amount helps, and they appreciate the community that will support them during recovery, and the people who've made it easier so far!
Even if you share, that's more than enough!
From each of us helping Jade through their recovery, thank you for the support and financial stability you're able to provide for her.

From Jade -
Hiiiiiiii it's happening! Feels alien to actively seek ways to take care of myself, but we're nearly there. I'm seeking support from friends, family, kind strangers, and colleagues to help me keep up with expenses, bills, and additional medical costs associated with the three separate medical in and outpatient appointments I plan to have in 2025.
If you didn't know, surgery recovery time for gender-affirming care can be up to eight weeks, with a majority of that time completely unable to work or keep up with household responsibilities. These funds would help stay on top of taking care of my pets, pay my rent, and be able to feed myself while I am not able to work!
Jade's story
After coming out to close friends online, partner at the time, and my academic circle, 2021 was a year of rapid change. I graduated from UNT, shortly leaving behind my familiar surroundings of home, and securing a job at the University of Oregon.
Since moving to the Pacific Northwest, my time has been filled with new milestones, friendships, heartache, and milestones in my queerness. I started feminizing and presenting more authentically by 2021, started HRT in 2022, going by Jade in 2023, and now taking the steps to plan procedures for my health and wellbeing!
I want to point out a few folks in particular, who've made this so easy and safe. My brother, Ben, has been a supporter and best friend since before I even knew what I wanted with all of this. My best friend, Rachael, who's been by my side for nearly 10 years now, moving to Oregon with me and jumping into the unknown of our mid-20's, and the friends and loved ones I've made and developed here in Oregon!
Thanks for taking the time to read my story, I am FINALLY looking forward to what's ahead in life, and its because of each of your allyship, support, and kindness every step of the way ️⚧️
