Support Jada's Once in a Lifetime Opportunity!

Hi, my name is Jada Exama and I am a senior at Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical High School. I have been recognized through academic excellence to represent my school and community at Stanford University's Intensive Law and Trial Program in California this summer. This 10-day program is an exciting and unique opportunity for me to learn from subject matter experts and legal professionals, including Standford Law School professors, and take part in competitive mock trial simulations.

My whole life, I have been a strong advocate for all groups. Growing up as a bi-racial woman, I have experienced and seen discrimination first-hand. Whether this made me different from the rest, it only made me stronger. This has created resilience, strength, and perseverance in me. Recently, I co-founded a local youth organization dedicated to working towards a more peaceful community. I am beyond grateful to spark change in my community, but I would love to make a change on a larger scale. My dream is to be a Social Justice Lawyer and to fight for justice. To make this dream come true, it is vital to receive the best education I can.

At Stanford University I will learn what it takes to become a successful attorney. The trip total is $5,000 which is the cost of tuition, room and board, and travel expenses. Any little donation helps tremendously; no amount is too small!
