Support Jada Giddings' Journey at Howard

Hi everyone,

My name is Jada Giddings, and I’m a rising junior Business Management major at Howard University. I never imagined I’d be in this position, but today I’m reaching out with hope and humility.

Like many other students, I’ve been affected by unexpected financial challenges at Howard. The cost of attendance this past year was nearly $60,000. Despite working throughout my sophomore year, receiving scholarships, loans, and my family’s incredible support, I still have a remaining balance of $19,000 that must be covered by July 30th for me to continue my education.

My dad is a single father who has been my rock through everything, especially after losing my mom to breast cancer. Since then, he has shouldered nearly all the financial responsibilities to ensure my brother and I have what we need and more to pursue our dreams.

Education has always been my priority, and Howard has become a second home. I’ve worked tirelessly to get where I am, and I’m passionate about using my degree to uplift and serve my community. But right now, I need support to stay on this path.
