My name is Jacques and I (along with my friend, Keigan) will be traveling to Tokyo Japan this summer for 5 weeks via EF Study Abroad program to learn Japanese. I will have the opportunity to stay with a host family outside the city and commute to Tokyo each day to attend class for 5 hours to learn the language. Afterwards, I will meet up with a group from Barbe and Sulphur High School for a 2 week guided tour of Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and more. I am excited for this opportunity to travel across the world and immerse myself in a completely new culture and language.
