My name is Jacquelin Gomez, and I'm a passionate South High junior. Being a highly involved student, I have devoted myself to growing, helping others and challanging myself. In my growth as a person and student leader, I have taken part of programs and positions such as Virtual Enterprise Director of Operations, Environmental Restoration Vice President, ASB Junior Vice President, MARCA, Drumline Section Leader, Varsity Girls Cross Country and Track Captain, Principle Advisory, Spartan Market non-profit organization, EAOP, and Criminal Justice Academy. I have challeged myself through taking honors and gate classes, while maintaining an unweighted GPA of 4.0.

In following my passion of growth, I aspire to pursue higher education at a UC campus. Working twords my goal, I recently applyed and was admitted to the summer program COSMOS, in Cluster 8: Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine at UC San Diego! I aspire to become a psychiatrist and help people. I belive this opportunity will help me get a step closer to my dream, but I unfortunately can not afford the tuition.
