Support Jacqueline's Journey Back Home

Hi, my name is Jacqueline. Once again, we were impacted by yet another hurricane. Last year, we had Hurricane Idalia, and compared to this year with Hurricane Helene, last year was minor. Unfortunately, our house wasn't even finished being remodeled from last year's hurricane.

This year, Helene brought with her 5 feet of water and destroyed everything in our home again, including my vehicle. We will not be rebuilding this time and just want to go back north to home. We were lucky to get our pets and ourselves out. We were sent an angel to rescue us with his boat. His first name was Zak. I don't know where he came from or where he was going, but I am forever grateful to him.

Now, I am in desperate need of more angels to help me get enough funds together to pack up what I can salvage and go home.

update: So more than ever now I am trying to get back to my home state of Ohio. My wonderful cousin Ruth has graciously said I can stay with her. I don't believe there will be anything left of my house after Milton comes through. I've lost everything but a few things I had in storage and some clothes I salvaged and washed. Everything else that was in the house was destroyed.

Update: My son and his wife have taken what they could and are on their way to New Hampshire, where his wife's friend will help them relocate.
