Hello, I am starting this GoFundMe to help my sister raise money for a family attorney so she can fight to get her son back.

Last year, CPS was called after an incident at the YMCA in Parkersburg, WV. They accused her of abusing her children, which was and still is completely untrue. At the time, her three-year-old son, Jasper, went to daycare with a black eye. The injury happened when he was playing on a chair after being told not to. He fell and hit his face on a coffee table. Jacqueline was in the kitchen making dinner when it happened and was not in the room at the time. She even had a nurse check his eye to make sure he was okay. He was fine, just a little boy being a little boy.

Despite this, CPS removed the boys from her care. My mother and I are foster parents, so Jasper was placed with my mom during that time. Jasper’s father was unable to take him, so thankfully he was able to stay with family while in foster care.

Myles’ father was also contacted. Although he had been largely absent for the first five years of Myles’ life, he chose to take custody at that time. As a result, Myles was sent to North Carolina to live with a man he had only seen a handful of times. His father had not previously provided financial support, and my mother and I had helped Jacqueline care for the boys because neither father had stepped up consistently to be active, supportive parents.

We are asking for help so Jacqueline can secure proper legal representation and fight for what is best for her child. Any support, prayers, or shares would mean more than we can express. Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
