Dear family, friends, and kind-hearted strangers,

It is with heavy hearts that I announce the passing of Johnathan. Johnathan was a cherished son to one of my dearest friends and coworker, Jacqueline, who brought so much love and light into his mother’s and family’s lives. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

As Jacqueline comes to terms with Johnathan’s passing, she is faced with the difficult task of arranging his final farewell, bills left behind, and those that will continue to accumulate during this difficult time. Jacqueline is a single mother struggling with how to deal with this devastating loss of her beloved son and also has a teenage daughter at home to care for as well.

Unfortunately, in our line of work, we do encounter our down season when work is slow, and we are in those months with winter approaching. I am asking all my family, friends, kind-hearted strangers, and community for support in honoring Johnathan’s memory and help take some financial burden off of his mom Jacqueline as she has to grieve and navigate through this unimaginable loss. As we all know, funeral arrangements can be very expensive and overwhelming for a family to go through. It is with great hope and faith that I am reaching out to all of you for help for my dear friend and coworker so she can focus on her and her daughter’s grieving and remembering Johnathan.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain she is and will continue to go through during this process. Funds raised through this will go to funeral arrangements, bills left behind, and bills that will continue to accumulate during this difficult time. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in ensuring that Johnathan is laid to rest with the dignity and respect he deserves.

I also appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and messages of support for Jacqueline and her family during this difficult time. Together we can help this grieving single mother and give Johnathan the farewell he deserves.

In closing, I’d like to share a little bit about Johnathan. He was a young man that battled a horrible battle, and it tragically took his life. We all have been impacted directly or indirectly by this horrible disease or know someone who has. That doesn’t define who Johnathan was. Johnathan was love and light to all who knew him. He was Jacqueline’s only precious baby boy and his little sister’s big loving brother and protector. When he was younger, Jacqueline said he loved listening to Michael Jackson and would dance all the time to his music. His kindness, humor, and his overall BIG HEART will have a lasting impact and will be missed every day by his loving mother, sister, family, friends, and all who knew him.
