Update on Jacqueline – Released Tomorrow, Still in Urgent Need of Support
Hi everyone,
We wanted to share an important update on Jacqueline’s journey. Since mid-April, she has been hospitalized under 24/7 care due to a severe mental health crisis. After more than two months of intensive treatment, she will finally be released tomorrow, June 30.
While we are incredibly grateful that she is now stable enough to come home, the road ahead is still very difficult — especially for her 14-year-old son, Santino, who has been without his mother during this time and is eager to have her back.
During Jacqueline’s hospitalization:
– She lost her job
– She lost her medical insurance
– She now has $11,000 in rent back pay
– She still needs an additional $5,000 for basic expenses, including utilities, food, transportation, and ongoing medical support while we wait for Medi-Cal (which can take 30–45 days or more)
She is returning to her home for now, but without immediate help, we don’t know how long she and Santino will be able to remain there. We are doing everything we can to help her stabilize, heal, and rebuild her life — not just for herself, but for her son.
Please consider donating and sharing this campaign. Every single contribution makes a difference and helps keep this mother and son safe, together, and supported.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, prayers, and generosity.
With deep gratitude,
Her family and friends

Hello Family and Friends,
Our beloved friend Jacqueline Gonzales-Reyes, our loving beam of light, is in a severe health crisis and is in 24-hour care. Although she is safe, she is in desperate need of support as she is going through this crisis. We are finding that she does not have even basic needs (like, food in her home), and no funds for medications. We also discovered that she has been selling her furniture in her home to just cover her needs. It wasn't until this crisis that we found out what was happening. Her friends have been supplying what we can; however, we are reaching out to her community for support.
If you know Jacqueline, you know that it is our turn to repay her kind heart and be present for her in this moment of crisis. She is always present for dear loved ones, and for kids/teens. She would give what she could. Even if she needed it herself, she would happily give it to someone else, defining "giving the shirt off your back."
If you do not know Jacqueline, her energy is electric, and either you will love her or you will question why she is always happy. However, it is authentic! Even in the most dire situations, you will find her with a smile on her face and a powerhouse willing to step forward and help anyone who needs it. This is particularly true with her love of children! She cares and does the work that nobody does, which is finding underprivileged people (homeless, mentally ill) and she takes them under her wing. I have witnessed her unwavering love, and it is time to give back to this beautiful soul that is in crisis.
So today, I humbly request that you also help this beautiful soul. We are raising funds to support basic needs, medical treatments, medication, and any support for her 24-hour care. Let’s help her during this crisis.
If you feel moved, any amount and donation is highly appreciated! Nothing is too small.
With Much Love & Gratitude!
