Hello friends! It's with a heavy heart that we share that last week, Jacob was rushed to the hospital and just diagnosed with a rare and life threatening genetic disorder. Jacob is only 28 years old. The doctors have said he will need a medical procedure that can be provided in Tampa, Florida due to bloodless issue. They are willing to work with him there under those standards. Tampa, Florida is over 1,000 miles away and will need to be flown there. In addition to the surgery, Jacob will need treatment for the rest of his life. We are doing everything we can to support him, but the cost of travel, the surgery, recovery, and then lifelong care has become overwhelming. Jake has always given of himself to his friends and family. He's one of the most selfless people I know. He's very much loved and needed, and right now, he needs us.
