My son Jacob Dean was in a near fatal car accident on Mason Rd. and Kern Rd. April 12th,2023. Jacob was hit head on as another driver crossed the middle lane at 60mph, after an hour and a half extraction and being med flighted to U of M Hospital. Jacob sustained multiple injuries and required multiple surgeries. Jacob remains hospitalized but will be transferred for inpatient rehab for many more weeks or months. He will require extensive inpatient rehabilitation to learn how to walk again. This will be one of Jacob's most difficult journeys. Jacob loves and his passion has always been for skateboarding, which at this time we are unsure if he will ever skate again. Jacob has a long road to recovery ahead of him. The things we take for granted everyday will be life changing for him on learning to walk again as well as many other things. Jacob is that guy that would give you the shirt off his back. We are asking for prayers and any donations to help aid in his recovery, medical equipment, house alterations, mounting medical bills, on top of his normal monthly bills as he will not be able to work in his recovery. We ask that if you can't donate to please share across your social media.
