My 16 year old son Jacob was in a horrible car accident on the way to school and had multiple facial, skull and cervical spine fractures along with a traumatic brain injury. He has had an incredibly difficult road with 4 weeks in a Baptist trauma ICU intubated and on a ventilator. He now has a tracheostomy, gastrostomy tube, and is at Levine rehab to work on mobility since he can't walk or effectively move his left side of his body due to the many strokes he had. He has a long road to recovery and I need help getting money together to adapt our home for him and to get a wheelchair accessible van prior to discharge from rehab.
