Jacob and Brittany are two of my best friends and are always there to help without being asked. They are active members of the Flushing community and are extremely generous with their time and resources. Now, they are facing a challenge that no one should have to face alone. Jacob has been diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease (kidney failure) and is undergoing regular dialysis treatments, which has led to escalating medical bills and uncertainty about the future.

Jacob is in urgent need of a kidney donor, but in the meantime, the financial strain from ongoing treatments is growing. The costs from DaVita Dialysis and Hurley Medical Center are mounting, and they are also preparing for transplant-related expenses at University of Toledo Medical Center. These bills are overwhelming for Jacob and Brittany, who have always been the first to offer help to others in need.

If you know Jacob and/or Brittany, you know they would much rather give than receive. It took serious persuasion to get their blessing to create this campaign on their behalf. But these medical costs are only going to continue to rise. A little kindness and generosity from the community they love will go a long way toward returning their lives to normal someday (hopefully) soon.
