Support Jacob's Journey: Life After Amputation
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
On December 23rd, our beloved 23-year-old Jacob Keech and his brother, Bodey, were in a tragic car accident in the early hours of the morning. Jacob sustained life-altering injuries, including:
- Broken ribs
- Multiple fractures in his legs below the knees
- A laceration on his left forearm
- Burns on both legs and his left arm
Since the accident, Jacob has undergone over 10 surgeries, with more still ahead. Tragically, just before the new year, an infection in his left foot led to complications, and the difficult decision was made to amputate his leg below the knee to save his life. He continues to fight through additional surgeries to ensure his remaining tissue stays viable and to prevent further infections.
At just 23 years old, Jacob is the backbone of his family—a devoted husband to his loving wife and an incredible father to their three young children. As you can imagine, this journey has been physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming.
We are reaching out to you, our community, for support during this unimaginable time. Funds raised will go directly toward:
- Medical expenses, including surgeries, hospital stays, and medications
- Physical therapy and rehabilitation after his surgeries
- Prosthetic and mobility support
- Sustaining his family during his recovery, as Jacob will be out of work for the foreseeable future
Jacob has a long road ahead, but his determination and love for his family keep him going. Your contributions, no matter the size, will make an incredible difference in helping Jacob and his family navigate this challenging time.
If you are unable to donate, we ask for your prayers, positive thoughts, and for you to share Jacob’s story with others.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and generosity. Together, we can help Jacob take the next steps in his recovery—both literally and figuratively.
With gratitude,
Jacob's family
