Support Jacob's Battle Against Brain Tumor

Hello, my name is Toni Baca. My 7 year old nephew, Jacob, is fighting a brain tumor and we are asking for help. Thank you for taking the time to read my family’s story.

We are fundraising to help my sister, Jessica Fountain, and her family cover unexpected expenses, bills, and home/pet sitters while her son Jacob receives radiation treatment for the next 6-8 weeks at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Tennessee.

We also hope to help set aside a fund to cover future medical expenses for Jacob as he grows up with the life altering changes the tumor is causing.

My brother-in-law, Ryan, is active duty currently serving in the Air Force and stationed in New Mexico. My sister, Jessica, recently stepped away from her job in order to be fully present and alongside her son throughout his treatment and medical care.

On February 16, 2024, Jacob came home from school saying he had a headache. Throughout the evening the pain intensified, he grew nauseous, and from there was rushed to a pediatric ER. After a CT scan, the doctors found a cyst growing from a tumor in his brain.

Since then, Jacob has undergone 2 brain surgeries and has numerous specialty appointments. Jacob is now at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for radiation treatment. He begins his treatment on Monday, April 15th.

We are so grateful that St. Jude is covering a majority of their medical expenses. That is why the Fountain Family wishes to give any monetary donations that exceed their need back to St. Jude so that they may continue to help and support other families walking this road.
