It is with tremendous sadness that we inform our Moss Family of the passing of Jacob Taylor. Jacob, 34, was a Foreman at our Big Cypress Solar site in Arkansas, and he had been a member of our Moss Family since February 23, 2021.
Jacob was recently recognized for his outstanding commitment to Safety when he won one of our JSA Safety Awards and attended the Miami Grand Prix as his prize. He was nominated for the award by the site’s Safety Manager because of his unwavering care for his colleagues and willingness to always go the extra mile to ensure the well-being and safety of everyone on the jobsite.
Known for his excellent work ethic, he spent much of his time training his team members and was always accepting of advice. He was highly respected by all members of the Big Cypress Team for his diligence and care, which were evident in both his work and personal life. Several of his colleagues were aware of his family’s battle with health issues which never affected his performance at work. Jacob was the ultimate professional.
Our hearts go out to his family, close friends and team members.
