I’m raising funds to support the star of our film, Jacob Price — a Special Olympics Athlete and actor — as he travels to North Carolina for the official theatrical release of More Than Able: God’s Plan For Buddy.

The premiere, happening on Saturday, Novemeber 8th, came together on short notice, and travel costs are a challenge. Funds raised here will go directly toward covering Jacob’s flight, lodging, and travel expenses so he can attend the premiere, walk the red carpet, and celebrate this incredible milestone surrounded by his fellow cast, crew, and supporters.

My name is John J. Vogel, and I’m both a co-star and one of the producers of the upcoming independent film More Than Able: God’s Plan For Buddy.

This is a small-budget, independent movie — a true labor of love made by passionate filmmakers who believe in telling meaningful stories that uplift and inspire. Films like this aren’t easy to make; they take heart, faith, and an incredible amount of teamwork and community support. Everyone involved gave their all to bring this story to life — and at its heart is Jacob.

Jacob’s journey is remarkable. As both a Special Olympics athlete and a lead actor, he embodies perseverance, kindness, and faith in action. He’s proof that when you believe in yourself and stay true to your values, extraordinary things can happen.

Any additional funds raised will go toward future travel opportunities for Jacob — allowing him to continue acting, advocating, and representing the Special Olympics community wherever his journey takes him.
