We have started this fundraiser with the hope of helping our friend Jacob “COB” Milanczuk after experiencing a critical, life-threatening event.
Jacob is special to many hearts. Within seconds of meeting him anyone can agree- this guy is full of life. His positive spirit leaves a lasting impression. Jacob’s friend’s and family know that he is someone you can always count on. After all he’s done for us, he could now use our help.
While home with friends Thursday night, Jacob was involved in a horrible incident that resulted in nearly losing his left leg. His arteries, veins, nerves, tendons, and muscles were completely severed to the bone behind his knee. He was airlifted to a trauma hospital in Denver. A 13 hour surgery by 5 incredible teams of surgeons was required to repair all the damage to his leg,
avoiding amputation.
Jacob recently arrived home to Massachusetts where he is settling back in and preparing for his long-term rehab & recovery. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. The positive energy and strength we give will help him one day at a time.
