Support Jacob Hanover's Road to Recovery

Hi, my name is Kiersten Hanover, and I'm reaching out during one of the most difficult times in our lives. My husband Jacob Hanover was recently involved in a tragic motorcycle accident that left him with multiple serious debilitating injuries, including a broken pelvis, a fractured lumbar spine, a nasal fracture, and a large laceration to his left knee. He’s currently facing a long and painful road to recovery, which includes both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation.

Doctors have told us it will be 6 to 8 months before he can even consider returning to work as a full time KFD master firefighter. He will be non weight bearing for at least 8 weeks. In the meantime, the financial burden on our family is overwhelming. Even with insurance, the medical bills are expected to be immense—and as his primary caregiver, I will be doing my best to help support his children and keep our household running.

We are doing everything we can to stay strong and hopeful, but we truly need help to make it through this. Any support—no matter how small—will go directly toward medical expenses, daily living costs, and providing for our family while we navigate this incredibly challenging time.
