On the morning of June 25, 2025, our dear friend faced every parent’s worst nightmare — her son, Jacob Diehl, was tragically murdered. His life was stolen far too soon in a senseless act of violence that has shattered his family and all who loved him.

Jacob was a son, a brother, a friend — a young man with so much life ahead of him. His mother, already facing an overwhelming battle to find a kidney donor for her 10-year-old daughter, is now being forced to plan a funeral for her son.

No mother should have to bury her child — let alone while also fighting to save another.

We are raising funds to help cover Jacob’s funeral expenses and to lift even a small part of this unimaginable burden from his grieving family.
