Jacob was the kind of person who showed up for his sons, his friends, and the community. With two young boys, Jacob poured his heart into building opportunities for them and their peers to experience the healing, adventurous power of the outdoors. He served in several leadership positions in the Boy Scouts, athletic organizations, and schools. He was passionate about helping youth grow educationally, physically, and mentally. He was an exceptional teacher, a passionate sportsman, and a guiding light for many youth in our community.

Jacob’s sudden passing leaves behind a grieving wife, two sons, and parents who adored and admired him. This GoFundMe aims to help ease the financial burden of funeral expenses, ongoing support for his children, and allow his loved ones the space to grieve and heal without added worry.
