Due to some major life events lately, we are having to make another GoFundMe. The other one we aren’t sure what’s going on, so we’re just making a new one.
Jacob is currently needing another foot surgery due to part of his foot still being broken. We found out he does have an autoimmune disease; we just have to do some more testing before I announce that. He also has liver disease, and the sad part of that is it is the same liver disease that killed his dad in 2023.
On to me, everyone knows I am chronically ill and not the healthiest, but after pushing myself for so long because I was tired of feeling like it was taking over my life, sadly it caught up to me and I am currently in the hospital. My body is not wanting to absorb food or water like it should in a person’s body, so because of that, I am super dehydrated and currently on my 5th bag of fluids. I also found out that my heart is enlarged and has to be monitored because of that. I also found out that because of not having my large intestines and only my small, sadly my small intestines have had so much stress on them, they are now paralyzed and wanting to give up on me, which means a huge possibility of needing the ostomy bag again, which I pray every day it doesn’t come to that. I have no idea how long I will be in the hospital, but I do know I won’t be going home in the next day or two.
With that being said, school has officially started, and when I am home, I have a house computer, but right now I do not have anything except my phone while I’m admitted. If anyone has any suggestions on free, reduced, or renting options for a laptop, please let me know.
The purpose of this GoFundMe is because sadly, as we were getting caught up in life, this has now put us behind again. We are doing all we can to stay afloat. I will also be making a meal train because with me being in the hospital, Jacob’s health, Hayden in baseball, and Jacob having to do baseball, plus come back and forth to see me to make sure I am okay, cooking gets overwhelming and sometimes it’s late nights. I will never be able to thank everyone who has donated, called, texted, and just has been there for us through all this chaos. We are forever thankful and so blessed for the even small village we do have.
