Hello, my name is Jacob LaMar. I am married to a woman named Catrina, and we currently have nine of our own children (all of them are both of ours) living with us. Most recently, we have had twins.
I have a job, but my work hours have been cut dramatically as the workload decreased and changes were made on the ramp that I work at. Around the same time, two of my cars broke down—one of them for good, and I had to scrap it. Also, we had to move, so our rent went from $1,250 to $2,000 a month. In desperation to pay rent, I took out loans that are making my paychecks nil. I'm now late on this month's rent. It is December 2025. I don't know how I'm going to pay it. I don't know how long the one car that we have is going to last.
I just need a good amount of money to pay off these small loans, pay some rent to catch up on bills, and hopefully get a car that's going to last. I know that if I could get the financial help I need, I will be okay in the next couple of months. I'm training as a manager and a crane operator at the same time. As a manager, I'll be paid on salary, so I don't have to worry about hours. As a crane operator, I'll get paid at least $1.50 more an hour if I choose to go that route. But right now, I don't know how I'm going to pay rent and not get kicked out of where I'm living with my big family.
I would do Amazon Flex to fill in the extra income that I need. However, the car that I have doesn't seem very trustworthy, and I wouldn't be able to make enough as fast as I need as well. I am just desperate for a boost up to get back where I can pay my bills on time. I really wouldn't ask this if I didn't have so many people depending on me.
