Support Jaclyn’s Journey Amid Breast Cancer

Hi everyone,

I never imagined that at 31, I would be facing one of the biggest challenges of my life. In November, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. While I am ready to fight with everything I have, the reality of treatment comes with difficult decisions—one of them being my ability to have children in the future.

Chemotherapy and the hormonal treatments I will have to endure can severely impact fertility, so my doctors have recommended freezing my eggs before starting treatment. Unfortunately, insurance doesn’t cover the procedure and even with grants, the cost is overwhelming—$3,700 just for the egg retrieval process before anesthesia, storage, etc., plus additional medical bills and the financial strain of missing work for countless appointments.
