On Thursday June 26 at 2am, my daughter Zoie had to take me to the hospital in excruciating pain. Turns outIi had a huge mass on my colon and it perforated. They removed part of my colon, as well as my uterus, the mass was that large and completely invading it. Unfortunately I do have colon cancer and am looking at 3-6 months chemo therapy. I unfortunately do not have insurance at the momenr, I started my new job just 2 months ago and qualified for benefits after all this happened. My hospital bills alone are going to be horrendous, on top of chemo. Every little bit helps and I am beyond grateful for everyone's generosity thus far.
Update July 3rd.... spoke with oncologist and it is Stage 3 colon cancer. Once my incision is healed I can start chemo AND FIGHT LIKE HELL!!!!
July 6th... I'M HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL!!! Another shout out to Zoie, the GOAT of daughters; who at 18 had to do some super quick, unexpected maturing and I am amazed by her. I'll br seeing the oncologist within the next week or 2 tops and my game plan can form. I'm ready to fight this and kick cancers ass!!!
